Overall, a decent place to have a short stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Restrooms, showers, and laundry are clean and serviceable. Spaces are packed close and there seemed to be a lot of full-timers.
Very nice park for those wanting to get back to nature more than they want modern-day conveniences. Tent spots are beautifully treed and secluded as are the RV spots. Speaking of RV spots, I would not try a larger RV. Even my 26' fifth wheel was too large for most of them since the trees hang low and the roads are very narrow, one-way streets. Still, it is very beautiful and is a much better alternative for small RV's & tents than the North Whidbey RV park, which is very unfriendly.
I would give it a 1 rating were it not so conveniently located. First and foremost, the manager lady is extremely rude and very difficult to speak with. My wife and I are full-timing here and we just avoid her as much as possible. Second, they claim to have cable TV. They don't. What they DO have is over-the-air broadcast TV that doesn't come in at all. They acknowledge that there is a problem but they refuse to get it fixed. Third, they advertise free WiFi. It rarely works and when it does, it is very slow. Slower than the old 14.4 modems. We just use our cell phones. For long-term stays, electricity is NOT free so add that on to the $400/month you'll pay. The spaces are pretty close together but allow a small amount of room. Larger RVs would be better off finding a different park. Restroom facilities are well maintained as is the laundry room (laundry is fairly expensive at $1.50 wash/$1.00 dry). I work at NAS Whidbey Island and there are a few of us Navy personnel living here full-time. It is very close to the "back gate" so commuting is easy. It is also right across the highway from Deception Pass State Park which has a great ocean view and some nice, solitary camping spots. Overall, I would NOT stay here if I had a choice. The RV park is nothing to write home about but does have more trees and is less windy than the RV park in the city of Oak Harbor.
Pretty good RV park for a casino. Better than dry parking in a casino parking lot. Great WiFi signal and good TV signal. Grounds are well maintained with walking trails down to the river and blackberry bushes everywhere. No restroom or shower facilities available. For the price, it's a fair deal. Nothing spectacular but not disappointing.
